Sunday, CG CH El Minja's Gyalwang "Rocky 2" was Best of
Breed under Mrs Carol Kniebusch Noe
and a Group 4 under Dr Roger S Pritchard.

JoAnn & Jim Alford are pleased to announce that their
Russian Toy boy “Kruiz” is ranked 7th
in the UKC Companion
Group and has been invited to the Annual Top Ten
Finals Competition in Kalamazoo, MI.
Te Brown’s German Shepherd Dog “Luke” earned his BN
and RN – and won 3rd
Alison Barrett’s Saint Bernard “Daphne” finished her
Championship (plus 2 extra points)
on Friday at our show.
This also put her mom, Mike & Beth McCarthy’s “Rowan”
in the Hall of Fame.

years ago Alan Krenek began organizing
this presentation to middle schoolers
studying genetics in collaboration with
a teacher at Sierra Middle School who
later transferred to Cimarron.
we introduce students to a variety of
breeds and each club member that
participates shares with the students
how old their breed is, what they were
originally bred to do, the country in
which the breed originated, and what
their particular characteristics are as
points include what a dog show is all
about, responsible dog ownership, the
purpose of breeding purebred dogs, and
when time permits, a bit about
performance events and junior
showmanship. Each year we do two
presentations to three classes at a

a Junior 4th and a Junior 2nd at the Denver shows.
Bloodhounds are not an easy breed to show, not even
for professional handlers, so KUDOS to this new team
and THANK YOU to the judges who rewarded them!

"CH RockDancers Ruby Tuesday" went BOB Friday
earning her Grand Champion title.
