Plum Creek Kennel Club of Colorado (PCKC) is the largest AKC all breed kennel club in Colorado.

We are an AKC member club dedicated to furthering the knowledge and care of purebred dogs. We want to protect dogs and encourage interest in all breeds of purebred dogs. We also encourage sportsmanlike competition at dog shows and obedience trials. PCKC has a strong group of members that specialize in solutions to animal issues within the community.

Plum Creek Kennel Club conducts sanctioned matches, dog shows, and obedience trials under the rules of the American Kennel Club. We are always available to provide information, assistance, and the benefit of our experience to local and state governments. We host and support a variety of events, including the Rocky Mountain Cluster Dog Shows (RMC).

Debut of PetAid Disaster Services AKC Pet Disaster Relief Trailer

A number of Colorado dog clubs came together this past year to purchase not one, but two, Pet Disaster Relief Trailers. These trailers will provide animal care services during the first 72 hours following a disaster the critical time before FEMA support and services are deployed.

With the ever-increasing number of floods, tornadoes, and wildfires, AKC Reunite is helping communities across the nation prepare by mobilizing AKC Pet Disaster Relief.

They are stocked with crates and everything needed for pet care. With the fires and floods Colorado has faced in the last couple years, they are a welcome addition to our state. Our trailers have arrived and one made it's debut at the Greeley Kennel Club shows, August 16th and 17th.

Debrah Schnackenberg, Director of Disaster Services PetAid Colorado, and Linda Hart, PCKC Member and Director of Legislative Affairs for Colorado Federation of Dog Clubs, were on hand to provide literature, give a quick tour of the trailer and answer any questions from exhibitor's and the general public.
If you missed the opportunity, at the Greely shows, to tour the trailer, you will have another opportunity for the tour at the Rocky Mountain Cluster (RMC) in February 2015.

Membership Meetings -- Our meetings are held on the second Monday of each month, beginning at 7:00 p.m, at Mimi's Cafe at 9155 PARK MEADOWS DR. LONE TREE CO 80124. Restaurant and beverage orders at the meeting are at your own expense. We look forward to hearing from you, and most of all seeing you !
